Dr. King completed medical school and his residency in his home state of Mississippi, at the University of Mississippi. He then served in The United States Navy and continued to serve the federal government in an executive capacity for the Department of Defense in Washington D.C. He has held faculty appointments at The George Washington University School of Medicine, The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and The Uniformed Services University School of Health Sciences. Dr. King moved to the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area with his wife, a Radiation Oncologist with the Tunnell Cancer Center and their son, a student at Rehoboth Elementary School.
